Commission Painting Process
Once you have commissioned a piece, we will begin with a personal briefing to explore your ideas, the story behind the work and any particular elements you would like incorporated.
I will then create an initial composition for your approval, giving you the opportunity to suggest any adjustments before painting begins. Once the composition is agreed, the process typically takes around four to six weeks to complete. Throughout, the aim is to make the experience as personal and considered as the finished artwork itself.

Size of work, timeline, and price agreed upon
Client pays first half of total cost
Lucinda commences the work and creates a compositional sketch that is sent in digital format to the client for review. This will be a pencil/pen rough positional sketch.
When the work is completed, on or before the agreed date, an image of the painting will be sent to the client for approval.
Upon client approval, the remaining balance is requested for payment .
After payment is received the painting is packed and shipped or delivered by hand.
