In this trompe l’oeil still life from Lucinda’s “In a Box” series, two playful young mice are exploring a small box filled with an array of old books. One of the books is entitled "The Young Stowaways" as a reference to the mice. Every element is painted directly onto reclaimed wood, carefully prepared and cut to size.
